— Officials say a jet skier is being credited for rescuing three girls who fell off a raft in Lake Michigan.
The Ottawa County Central Dispatch says crews from were called to a public beach in Park Township at the end of James Street late Monday afternoon following a report of three girls on a raft out in the water who had been signaling for help.
The girls were said to be about a quarter-mile from the beach when they fell off.
17-year-old Spencer Wisniewski, a Holland Christian High School Student, was on a stand-up jet ski at the time and was able to pull them back to shore in an inflatable boat.
