First OK funeral today - May 23rd, 2013 - National

— The first of the funerals is scheduled today following the deadly tornado in Moore, Okla.

It will be for 9-year-old Antonia Candelaria, one of seven children who died at a destroyed elementary school.

Moore Mayor Glenn Lewis says he'll propose an ordinance to require all new homes to have storm shelters. President Barack Obama travels to Moore on Sunday.

— Emergency officials say they don't know how many Oklahoma residents have been displaced by Monday's tornado because many people have been taken in by relatives. Only two dozen or so have stayed overnight at Red Cross shelters.

Some 13,000 homes were either damaged or destroyed in the hardest hit city of Moore, near Oklahoma City. And officials say the damage could be as much as $2 billion.
