5 MI residents died in Afghan plane crash - Apr 30th, 2013 - International

Five people from Michigan have died in Afghanistan. They were among seven people killed when a civilian plane crashed Monday after taking off from Bagram Air Field. Four pilots, two mechanics, and a load master were on board. An official from Orlando-based National Airlines says the plane was carrying people, vehicles and other cargo when it went down. Families of the Victims have been told but names have not been released to the public yet.
