Grand Rapids group continues to address the issue of violence - Feb 26th, 2013 - Local

The Grand Rapids Urban League is hosting several community dialogues this week as they work to address the issue of violence in the city. Monday night's meeting brought together several community representatives to focus specifically on the topic of mental health.
The meetings will continue through Thursday evening.
Tuesday's meeting will take place at Cesar Chavez Elementary School and the dialogue will focus on criminal justice.
The Wednesday gathering will be at ICCF on Cherry Street with a community dialogue on economic opportunities. Thursday the topic will about education and will be held at Grand Rapids Community College at Sneden Hall.
Each meeting takes place from 5:30 until 7 p.m.
