College student dies from bacterial meningitis - Feb 4th, 2013 - State

Kalamazoo College on Sunday, paused to remember one of their students who died suddenly over the weekend. Soph. Emily Stillman, from West Bloomfield, passed away from complications due to bacterial meningitis according to campus officials. Stillman lived in Crissey Residence Hall and those students were contacted. Campus officials are working with the Kalamazoo County health Department on the issue.
A letter went out to the campus community reminding them that anyone suffering from a bad headache, fever, or neck pains should seek health care immediately.
