Kentwood neighbor to honor couple found dead over the weekend - Jan 8th, 2013 - Local

Residents of the Princeton Estates subdivision in Kentwood are organizing a candlelight vigil Tuesday night in honor of David and Vivian Bouwman. The elderly couple was found murdered in their home on Saturday.
The candlelight vigil, which is open to the public, will be held at 7 p.m. at Pinewood Park, which is located in the Princeton Estates subdivision off 52nd Street in Kentwood. Residents of Princeton Estates are also planning to line their streets with homemade luminaries.
Neighbors say they are shocked by the fatal shootings, especially in a residential neighborhood that many describe as quiet and tight-knit.

Funeral services for the Bouwman's will be held Saturday, Jan.12, at Rush Creek Bible Church. Visitation will take place Thursday and Friday at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center. Memorial contributions can be made to Rush Creek Bible Church or Grace Bible College.
