Gov. Snyder in G.R. to speak to farmers - Nov 30th, 2012 - Local

Gov. Rick Snyder was in Grand Rapids Thursday to speak at the Michigan Farm Bureau's annual meeting. He acknowledged that farmers have faced a difficult year due to the drought. In the town hall style meeting, he encouraged farmers to think creatively and ask how much can they grow. He said agriculture is the "shining star" of Michigan's industries and a key engine in driving the state's economy.
