GRPS to come up with a revised plan - Nov 13th, 2012 - Local

The Grand Rapids Public School board members met Monday night to continue to discuss the latest plan that would save them money but at the same time would impact 10 area schools. The plan could include shutting down Creston High School. After the plan was announced, more than 500 phone calls and emails were received. The 4 major issues of concern targeted the potential closing of Creston High School, school uniforms, the Shawnee Oral Deaf Program, and a possible move for City High-Middle. Supt. Teresa Weatherall Neal says after hearing from the public she is working on a revised plan and that should be released next Monday.
