Tigers make a trade with Miami - Jul 24th, 2012 - Sports

We just saw Jacob Turner pitch for the Tigers but now he is headed to Miami. The Detroit Tigers made a trade Monday and acquired second baseman Omar Infante and pitcher Anibal Sanchez. In exchange, the tigers sent pitchers Jacob Turner and Brian Flynn and catcher Rob Brantly to Miami. All 3 players sent to the marlins recently played for the West Michigan Whitecaps.
The Tigers had Monday off and begin a series in Cleveland Tuesday. Doug Fister gets the start for Detroit.
The White Sox played Monday and beat the Twins 7-4.
