Work related fatal accident in Sparta - Jul 3rd, 2012 - Local
The Sparta Police Department responded to Federal Mogul Corporation on Maple Street in Sparta Monday afternoon. Upon arrival they found a construction accident and employee Brian Tarachanowicz had fallen through the roof to the concrete floor below. Brain worked with Blackriver Builders who had been contracted to repair the roof at Federal Mogul. It appears Brian stepped on a weak part of the structure which gave way from underneath him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. It appears to be a construction accident and nothing more according to authorities.
