Our flags will honor a West MI lawmaker today - Jun 22nd, 2012 - State

Gov. Rick Snyder has asked that we fly our flags at half-staff Friday to honor the life of a West Michigan lawmaker.
73-year-old Bill VanRegenmorter passed away on Monday. He served Ottawa County for a number of years in the House and Senate. He is best known for drafting Michigan's Crime Victim's Right Act.
A memorial service is taking place this morning at 11 a.m. at Baldwin Street Christian Reformed Church in Jenison.
