GRPS teacher wins special award - May 18th, 2012 - Local
A Grand Rapids Public School teacher has been named Michigan's Teacher of the Year. Bobbi Jo Kenyon is a science and math instructor at Ottawa Hills High School in Grand Rapids and has over 16 years of classroom experience. The State School Supt. made the announcement in Grand Rapids Thursday afternoon. Kenyon was selected from among 18 regional semi-finalists statewide. She is the first Grand Rapids Public School educator to receive the honor.
