Meeting Over Detroit's Ailling Finances Cancelled - Apr 3rd, 2012 - State

A lawsuit has blocked a meeting of a review team to discuss Detroit's troubled financial situation. While the city is looking at 200 million dollars in debt, a lawsuit filed by a union activist has put a halt to that meeting.

The suit filed by Robert Davis forced the cancellation of the meeting until another hearing can be scheduled.

Davis claims the team cannot meet since their term's have expired.

Governor Rick Snyder's administration released a statement saying they were "extremely disturbed" by the ruling and will appeal.
