Primary Election Day: Polls open 7am-8pm - Feb 28th, 2012 - State

Polls are predicting a tight race between Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum in Michigan's Republican presidential primary today.
Election officials expect between 15% and 20% of the state's registered voters to cast ballots in today's primary.

Mitt Romney will spend today in the Detroit area.
Rick Santorum will make a quick trip to Ohio but will be in the Grand Rapids area for most of the day and evening.
Ron Paul will be in Virginia.
Newt Gingrich is looking beyond today's contests in Michigan and Arizona and is pinning his hopes on Super Tuesday on March 6th. He will be in Georgia today.
