Former GRPS Superintendent wants more money

The former school superintendent of the Grand Rapids Public Schools has filed a lawsuit claiming he's owned some $330,000 dollars. Dr. Bernard Taylor Jr. was released from the district back in 2011 and has since taken over a district in Louisiana.
A lawsuit was filed Thursday and his lawyer is asking for the money denied him by the district. Taylor claims GRPS withheld the money because of "misconduct or mismanagement" during his tenure, charges he flatly denies. The district released a statement saying they will not comment "on any pending legal matters related to the lawsuit Dr. Bernard Taylor, Jr. has filed against the district."
