Back2school Breakfast

This is an easy recipe that can be made a day ahead and baked the morning of the first day of school.


1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
12 slices of whole wheat bread
5 eggs
1.5 cups milk
Pinch salt


Melt butter, and mix with sugar and cinnamon. Pour into 9x13 pan. Place 6 slices of bread on top of mixture and then 6 more slices on top of that. Then mix eggs, milk and salt together. Pour over bread and cover. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350○ for 45 minutes.
