Strawberry Pie


½ c Butter
1 1/3 c Flour
1 T Water

1 qt Strawberries - sliced
1 c Sugar
2 T Corn Starch
1 c Water
4 T Strawberry jello mix


Melt butter in pie pan. Add flour and water then mix together. Pat mixture firmly in pan and prick holes in crust. Bake @ 425 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Cool.

Bring water, sugar, and corn starch to a boil in a sauce pan. Boil 1 minute. Add jello powder to mixture, stir in and cool. Place strawberries in cooled crust. Pour cooled filling over berries and refrigerate to set. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.

To make a raspberry pie, replace berries and use raspberry jello powder.
