Super Simple Fruit Cobbler
Ingredients:
1 lg Can fruit pie filling (apple, cherry, blueberry, whatever is your favorite)
1 Box Jiffy golden cake mix*
½ c Butter or margarine, melted
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Meanwhile spread pie filling in 13x9x2 pan. Top with dry cake mix (unbaked!). Pout melted butter over top of cake mix, covering evenly. Bake 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot, topped with ice cream.
*Note: other yellow cake mixes will work okay. But over the years I've found that, for this purpose, the Jiffy works best – it crisps up better.
