Toasted Ravioli


½ c Buttermilk
1 Egg, well-beaten
1 c Caesar seasoned croutons, finely crushed
1 pkg Frozen beef ravioli, slightly thawed
Canola oil (for frying)
Marinara or spaghetti sauce (for dipping)
Grated Parmesan-Romano cheese


Pour canola oil to a depth of about 2" in a saucepan. Heat until very hot (350 degrees)

Meanwhile, in small bowl combine milk and eggs; beat well. Dip each ravioli in milk mix and lightly roll in bread crumbs. CAREFULLY add ravioli to oil – just a few at a time! Cook one minute per side, until golden. Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. (You may keep ravioli warm in a low-heat oven while frying remaining ravioli).

In microwaveable bowl, heat marinara/spaghetti sauce. Let each person dip their ravioli in sauce and sprinkle with cheese.
