Kids, it’s time for the Summer Reading Challenge at the Grand Rapids Public Library! The experiment this summer will be to see how many books you can read (if you can pull yourself away from your laboratory.) All kids under 18 in the city are challenged to join the Mad Scientist Club: read books, perform crazy experiments, and become a science whiz! The more minutes you read, the more levels you unlock. Completing some levels will unlock bonus prizes. Can you get to the final level by the end of the summer? Grab your lab coat, and start to read like mad! The Summer Reading Challenge is May 27th through August 31st at all Grand Rapids Public Library Locations. It’s free and open to everyone! To learn more, call (616)988-5400 or visit www.grpl.org.
